  The Zamfara State Governor elect, Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare has has said  that security of lives and properties will be the top most priority of his incoming administration.

Dauda Dare made the  disclosure today during his first  press conference at his Gusau residence after the collection of his certificate of Return from the INEC office.

According to him, nothing whatsoever can move in the absence of peace, pointing out that the agricultural activities that usually be the main occupation of the people has dwindled drastically due to the effects of banditry.

"By God grace I will address the teething insecurity challenges that is seriously ravaging the entire State before I can concentrate on other sectors"

Dare admitted that all the decaying sector need to be addressed before the State could be repositioned, stressing that many waters have passed under the bridge.

He lamented that it would be an easy task as he would inherit huge liabilities, saying that, his administration would do everything possible for human development.


"In politics, there is no permanent enemy, neither permanent friend but common interest, so I am appealing to everyone irrespective of political differences to join hands with me to reposition the State"

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
