Rerun Election:- Zamfarawa Complete Your Job, Says Lugga

The acting Chairman of Zamfara state chapter of Peoples Democrtaic Party Hon, Mukhtar Lugga has enjoined the eligible voters in the outstanding voters registration areas of Zamfara Central  Senatorial District to come out en mass and vote for the PDP candidate, Alhaji Ikira Aliyu Bilbis in this Saturday's supplimentary elections.

Lugga  also implored the voting public to vote for other PDP candidates for the outstanding  House of Representatives election for Tsafe and Gusau Federal conatituency and Gummi / Bukkuyum Federal Constituency, in this Saturday April 15th 2023.

"Permit me to thank the voters who voted for our PDP Governor-elect Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare and the 18 House of Assembly members in the earlier elections", Lugga  emphasized.

Lugga made the call  today at a Press briefing  held at the party secretariat in Gusau, the state capital.

He however  accused the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, of plots to harass and arrest their party critical stakeholders, and  the party has expressed concern about the alleged interference of the Inspector General of Police in the politics of Zamfara State.

According to Lugga, they are  worried over the invitation of their party stakeholders by the Nigeria Police to Abuja, this is because  of the insecurity facing the state, he appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, to consider the area of juridiction of the case and send the case back to Zamfara state.

“Nigerians were aware of how over 80 people were abducted along Wanzamai area of the state recently, and we cannot allow our party loyalists to travel along Zamfara Katsina road.

“Among the PDP leaders illegally invited by the Inspector General of Police are Alhaji Garba Ahmad Yandi, Alhaji Kabiru Ahmadu; Alhaji Yusuf Daha Tsafe; Alhaji Ibrahim Modibbo; Alhaji Zahradeen Ibrahim; Alhaji Musa Mallaha; Alhaji Sambo A. Sambo; Hajiya Lubnah Baba Gusau among others, he concluded.

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
