Zamfara Palm Oil Sellers Association Provides Job Opportunity To Over 100 Youth

Zamfara state chapter of Palm Oil Sellers Association has said that currently there are over 100 youth working under association's umbrella.
Public Relation Officer of the Association, Alhaji Dan ladi mai manja made the disclosure today in an interview with news men in Gusau.
He said, they decided to engage youth into the business considering the economic situation of the country, adding that giving job opportunity to youth will reduce redundancy, nsecurity among others.
Alhaji Danladi, said they are paying them on daily basis, and most of them are the one taking care of their families. He then called on the well to do individuals, business organisations and group of associations in the state to emulate them and employ youth.
On how the fuel subsidy removal affect their business, he said, before the removal of subsidy, they are selling one jerricane of Palm Oil at the cost of N3000, but now the price reduced to N2800.
"You see due to subsidy removal uploading Trucks that are carrying our goods have increased transport fares from N1000 to N1,250,00 naira to each jerricane, but we decided to leave the price as it is, inorder to provide soccour to customers".
