Arewa publishers forum honours clergyman with award of excellence

   The Arewa publishers forum of Nigeria (APFN) have awarded the founder of Qur’an on Cassette and Darul Tauheed School Kaduna, Sheikh  Usman, with award of excellent for his humanitaran contributio given destitude and  Muslims ummah in general..

   Receiving the award sheick Zakariyya, enjoined wealthy muslims to always use their wealth in the Propagation of Islam by building Islamic Schools, mosques and supporting the education of orphans and other muslim children.

    He however called on the muslim ummah to always inculcate the habit of supporting the less privileged in the society by giving them Zakkat  and other forms of charity to better their lives.

   The muslim cleric also enjoined them to embrace unity, sincerity of purpose and other activities that would promote peace and mutual trust in the society.

    Sheikh Zakariyya, however, extolled the virtues and humaniterian support of the late Kaduna based Islamic Scholar Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi.

   According to him, Sheikh Gummi  was one of the mentors who during his life time encouraged them in pursuance of Islamic knowledge and always advised them in  assisting   the less previllege in the society.

   Presenting the award, the National President of Arewa Publishers Forum of Nigeria APFN, Dr Sani Mohammed described Sheikh Zakariyya Usman as a man of wisdom and proven integrity who contributed greatly to the upliftment of Islam and society in Kaduna State.

He urged other muslims to emulate his kind of gesture of propagating and  upliftment of Islam and the society in general.
