Kano, Jigawa hold sensitisation workshop for State Assembly members

The Kano and jigawa states House Of Assembly Members have organised a joint sensitization workshop on capacity building in order to create synergy among the legislative arms of government.

   

The two day collaboration workshop which was recently held at Bafra hotel, in Kaduna.

   

In an interaction with newsmen  during the sensitisation  program, the Kano state (NNPP) House member representing Gwale constituency, Honourable Abdulmajid Isah Umar said, "the essence of this orientation is to have an inter exchange ideas of laws, policy and interaction forum for the capacity building of the house of assembly members, to understand the effectiveness and good

deliberation of the laws as well as the challenges facing the new chamber.

   

Honourable Isah however stressed that, Kano and jigawa having sharing common tradition, ethics and religion background, he also urged the other northern States to copy  what jigawa and Kano states did, inorder to achieve their common interest.

   

 Similarly, Thee House Member representing Ajangi local government, Alhaji Tini Laban Ajingi, explained that, his  aims and objectives are to reiterate what Kwankwaso is doing in providing political legacies in dealing with human development, through community inniative that would benefit the society in various human endeavours, building roads, provide health care delivery, water supply, schools and electricity.

    

Ajingi however stressed that, recently from resumption to office, he passed bill for the construction of road from Kwanar karnai to Botai, to Kara via Turnkeys for easy access to the

 market.

   

According to him, he  started political carrier by contesting the political position during (SDP), one time local government chairman later became the house of assembly member after several attempt.

   

   Another house member interviewed by  journalists Alhaji Ahmad Ibrahim Karaye Kano state, expressed his commitment to contribute on education to the community he is  representing by passing a bill for the  creation of college of education at Karaye Emirate.

   Which comparised Gwarzo, Karaye, Kabo, Kiru, Madubi,Madubi, Shanono and Bagwai.

   

   He also move the motion to construct road from BUK new side to Durum, Yelwan Dan ziyan, Kabo to Karaye to Rogo.and however made bill that would provide electricity in Kabi, Rungu, Rimi, Imma and so many villages.

   "It's my intention to make sure I create a center that  women, youth and children will be trained with skills acquisition for self reliance, also its my desire to construct a Mini stadium in Karaye for the sports development."
