Zamfara NLC Sets To Join Nation Wide Indefinate Strike Action Tomorrow

The Zamfara state chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has said that all arrangements have been concluded to join their national body for the planned nation wide strike accross the Nigeria tomorrow Wednesday.

This was made known by comrade Sani Haliru, NLC Zamfara state chairperson, while briefing newsmen on the level of their preparedness of Tomorrow's planned strike actions.

He said, we have conducted several meetings with all relavance stakeholders to ensure that the strike action was conducted in a good atmosphere.

The Chairman stated that the NLC has no option than to embark on strike, considering the present situation that is happening in the country where citizens are facing serious difficulty in life.

He however noted that the citizens of the country are facing hardship that never happened in the country before, as such it has became imperative for NLC to protect the Nation’s interest.

The NLC state Chairman therefore called on people in the state particularly the workers to comply with the planned Nationwide, scheduled to hold tomorrow.
