Zamfara Palm Oil Sellers Association appeals to FG for assistance

Federal and state governments were called upon to, as a matter of urgency, assist members of Palm Oil Sellers Association Zamfara state, in whichever way possible, to cultivate the spirit of patriotism in them as well as giving them a sense of belonging.
The vice chairman of the association Alhaji Buba mai manja furfuri made the appeal today in an interview with newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara state capital.
He said, the appeal became imperative considering the number of youth employed by the association to be self reliant.
According to him, the removal of fuel subsidy has really challenged their business, and they have over one thousand youth working under their care, adding that they need assistance.
He however made it clear that, insecurity in the state has bedeviled their business, as according to him 75% of their members are at stake, because they lost their belongings.
Sardaunan Furfuri, further explained that their customers in some villages accros the state don't have access to come to Gusau to buy products due to the lingering insecurity challenging the state.
Alhaji Buba Mai manja also called on Zamfara state government to assist people in the state with palliatives made available to them by Federal Government as supplement to the entire citizens.
