Zamfara ministry provides clothes, hijabs, others to orphans

The Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Development, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun has provided clothes, shoes, hijabs, Caps and assorted fashion earrings worth 2.5 million Naira for the orphans at Gusau Orphanage Home.
While presenting the gifts, the Commissioner said the gesture was part of the kindness of Governor Dauda Lawal to ensure the welfare and well-being of orphans in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by the commissioner's spokes person, Suleiman Isa and issued to newsmen in Gusau, Zamfara state capital.
According to the statement, Dr. Nafisa said that, according to the resolution taken by Governor Lawal, henceforth, the orphans will be fed with healthy food that contains nutrients.
"The First Lady Hajia Huriya Dauda Lawal has completed arrangements for the wedding of five girls in the orphanage girls that have suitors" the Commissioner disclosed.
The Commissioner advised the orphans to reciprocate the gesture by being good people with full discipline and loyalty.
Some of the orphans who spoke at the occasion assured the Commissioner that they will never disappoint the state government in any situation they find themselves.
In a related development, the Commissioner also provided uniforms to the entire staff of the orphanage home to improve their appearance during working hours.
Dr. Nafisa advised the workers of the Orphanage home to adopt the habit of cleanness and always be God fearing in the discharge of their official duties.
