2024 Hajj;KDSG To Set Up Pilgrims Welfare Committee

The Kaduna state governor, Malam Uba Sani has expressed his government commitment for the smooth conduct of the 2024 Hajj exercise to the intending pilgrims.
The last year hajj exercise was characterized with dishonest, injustice and greediness from the various stakeholders, that restricts the state pilgrims to performed peaceful and smooth hajj.
Governor Sani, stated this during the closing ceremony of Kaduna State 38th annual Qur'anic recitation competition, which was held at the venue of Qur'anic competition in Kaduna.
"Our government have decided to reject many stakeholders, contracts and set up a pilgrims welfare committee that will conduct better hajj exercise "
"I'm optimistic with the way contractors dehumanized the state pilgrims right from pilgrims camp in Kaduna to Saudi Arabia, to perform their obligations and also back to Nigeria."
In his address the Chairman of the occasion, Sheikh Dr Abdullahi Bala Lau, also the leader of JIBWIS, described Qur'an as the holy book with the symbol of unity, that have encouraged peoples' to live together in respective of their ethnicity and their cultural background.
He however emphasized that the recitation of the holy Qur'an is the scenario's of peace in our country, much of the brouhaha was characterized for Nigeria by foreign influenced but due the reading of the holy book (Qur'an)it was all averted.
Also Speaking with newsmen during the event the senior special assistant to the Kaduna state governor, Honourable Abdulrahman Zakariyya Usman,expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the Qur'anic recitation competition in the state.
He also thanked the state governor Uba Sani for supporting the program, and also witnessed the closing ceremony, despite his many engagements .
The this year male High category for Qur'anic recitation competition was won by Sufuyanu Mohd from Zaidul bin Sabbid Islamic school Tudun Nupawa Kaduna, while Aisha Musa Sharif won the high females category from Abbas Abdulkadir Islamic School Unguwar Sarki Kaduna
