Zamfara PDP Supporters Welcome Gov, Dauda, Express Readiness For Re-run Election.

The Zamfara state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyalists have today gathered and welcome the seasoned governor Dauda Lawal who came back from a trip, for a special assignment in cote-d'voir Republic.

The aim of welcoming the governor is to show their solidarity and support, following the appeal court judgement, in which it declared Zamfara state election as inconclusive and  ordered a presh elections in three local government areas of Zamfara state, namely Maradun, Bukkuyum and zurmi.

Addressing the crowds  Governor Dauda expressed his appreciations for the support given to him by his supporters in state .

 He  expressed optimism that he would emerged victorious in the re – run election, urging the eligible voters to remain calm and honour the PDP by voting it’s candidate at poll. 

The governor informed the gathering that, the supporters of the main opposition party APC in the state became more jealous for the rapid development been executing within the short period of PDP government in the state.

He however stressed that the PDP government has within five Month of administration triumphed in bring dividends of democracy which the APC government could not bring to state twenty five years of it’s administration.

“Within five Month of our administration, we succeeded in achieving numerous developmental aspects which they whoefully failed to achieved during their time,” I believed these projects they have seen executing in across the state made them stacked on jealousy and are fighting hard to stop it”.

“In fact, my administration has in it’s mission to rescue the state, planned for more projects contract to be awarded across 14 local government areas of the state,”.

“I am happy that we have started well, within the short period of our administration, we succeeded in paying the three Month civil Servants Salary left by the immediate passed APC government, the payment of three years abandoned NECO/WAEC exams fees for Zamfara students, refused by the previous government”, we have also solved the long problem of water scarcity in Gusau, among other projects”.

Governor Lawal stressed that his party PDP was happy with the Appeal court’s ruling and are ever ready to face APC Governorship Candidate in his home Maradun local government.

He therefore called on his party supporters to remain calm and also urged people in the state to continue praying for the government and peaceful coexistence to reign in the
