Aisha Mustapha Remanded In Prison For Assaulting Her 12 year Stepdaughter In Zamfara

The Unguwar Gwaza Sharia High Court Gusau, has remanded  Aisha Mustapha to prison for  assault to her 12-year old step daughter. 

Aisha, a resident of Tsafe town of Tsafe local government area appeared before the court today Friday, where she was remanded to Gusau prison for two weeks. 

The Sharia High Court judge Malam Surajo Usman said court's documents show that the accused person has allegedly subjected her step daughter to atrocities that made her life miserable. 

It could be recalled that the Zamfara state government and some non governmental organisations operating in the state have vowed to follow up the case to ensure justice was done to the victim. however the accused person was set to return to court on 28/12/2023.

This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen in Gusau signed by Suleiman isahn Information officer Ministry of Women, children and Social Development.

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
