KDSG To Support Media Practitioners

The Kaduna  State commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs  Honourable Sadiq Mamman Legas, has expressed the state government commitment to join hands  with the media  organisations  for the progress of the state.


The Commissioner, stated this while shortly after receiving  award conferred to him  by Arewa Publishers Forum and the Dome National Assembly Magazine, which recently held in Kaduna.


 Honourable Sadiq Mamman, said his ministry is ready support the media practitioners in carrying out their duties for educating, enlighten and informing the public on the activities of the government.


 The commissioner, also commiserated and condoled the state governor Malam Uba Sani and  people of Tudun Biri village over the saddened incident of the recent mistaken bombing by the Nigerian Army which killed over hundred people.


He further thanked the forum for honouring him with the prestigious award, which he  described as an encouragement.


   Earlier in his address, the President Arewa Publishers Forum and also Editor in Chief "The Doom Magazine Dr Sani Mohammad Garba, said  that, they decided  to combined the two major awards to the Commissioner for his numerous innovations and contributions to the growth and development of 23  Local Government Areas of the state, 

He also added that the recipient has made a philanthropic  development to the people of Kaduna state.


 He however said that, the award also is in recognition of the Commissioner’s impact for nation building,  effective leadership, and his contribution towards  the development of the state,

Zamfara Health Commissioner Resolves NMA Leadership Tussle, As She Receives Elders Commendation

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
