DR. DURUNGUWA CALLS ON ETHNICS AND RELGIOUS TOLERANCE

The immediate past Commissioner of National Population Commission (NPC,) representing Kaduna state, Dr Abdulmalik Mohammed Durunguwa, has enjoined Nigerians to exhibits and reflects ethnic and religious tolerance experienced in the olden days.
Dr Abdulmamalk made the appeal in an interview with newsmen shortly after the end of maiden reunion meeting of 1987 graduands of college of education Kafanchan, which recently held at the Dew Hermon event center Barnawa Kaduna.
According to the former Commissioner, "the ethnics and religious tolerance of the olden days, exampled of during our period in the college, we are all brothers keepers, shared clothes, food, slept together, and shared common ideas, which was lovely brotherhood.

" Despite we all came from differents religion and tribal background, and in differents location across the state and beyond, its quietly terrible and uncomparable with the present situations in the country."
Speaking with journalist, the Provost Isah Kaita College of Education, Dutsin Ma, Dr Ismail Ado Funtua, explained "the community participation on education as a capital intensive that required a lot of resource,the national policy on education, stipulated that public private partnership will be welcomed development in education.
He also noted that, "the establishment of community schools, private institutions, but what government is concerned about is the standard,so that should be more of monetary for making sure those private institutions meet to the standard for quality and relevancy.
A clergyman in the Set's, Pastor Bitrus Haruna Kyust of Harvester's for Christ Ministry Sabon Tasha Kaduna, called on the three tiers of government to introduced policy that inculcate ethnics and religious tolerance to Nigerians, for progress and it make endeavor impacts for our generation.
" To live in prosperity behind us,we need to be united, love one another take care of one another, sympathy one another. it needs to reflect on the olden days to bring back the glory in the nation."
Earlier in her welcome address, the Chairman central planning committee of reunion meeting, Hajiya Binta Ayuba Ibrahim,stressed the objective of reunion gathering;is to improved togetherness, upliftment of each other, good networking and also to assist one another in one way or the other.
She further urged the fellows colleques to assist the children of other colleagues especially those that in academic line, "I'm delighted for seeing faces that have not seen for the past Thirty Seven years.
