ZSUBEB Chair Receives ZMHA Committee On Education, Assures Of Working Synergy

Zamfara state Universal Basic Education Board ZSUBEB Under the leadership of Professor Nasir Garba Anka,. Makaman Sokoto ta kudu has received Zamfara state House committee on Education for an oversight visit.

Speaking during the visit,  the chairman House Committee on Education Dr Nasir Abdullahi Maru, said Oversight visit was part of their responsibilities  to see what ministries, department and agencies are doing according to their budget proposal and ensured compliance.

The chairman House Committee who cited  Education as the backbone of every development,  said  without it  no society could be developed .

He commended the Executive Governor Dauda Lawal for appointing Prof  Nasir Anka and his permanent members into the ZSUBEB whom he said with their vast knowledge and  experience the  Basic Education in the state would excell Insha Allah.

Responding, the Executive Chairman ZSUBEB professor Nasir Garba Anka Makaman Sokoto ta kudu Commended the efforts of the  House committee on Education for the conduct of one of their primary assignments  and assured to give all necessary support to discharge their responsibilities effectively.

Prof Anka said,  Education is the responsibility of all, everyone has a role to play to see that our younger generation are  well  educated for them to have a fruitful future .

He added that, Zamfara state Universal Basic Education Board ZSUBEB and   House committee on Education will continue to work hand in hand to see that his Excellency Dauda Lawal has fulfilled  his campaign promises .

According to him the governor has declared  state of emergency in Education in the state and called   on them to continue to give all necessary support to the board to discharge its constitutional mandates.

The House Committee  has received warm reception  by the chairman of the board, Permanent Members, Directors and other Staff,  held at the board conference hall in Gusau the state capital

During the visit, the Chairman House committee on Education Hon.Dr Nasiru Abdullahi Maru was accompanied by the Majority  leader of the House Honourable, Bello Muhammad Mazawaje Tsafe, Hon, Barrister Bashir Abubakar masama,  Hon. Halliru Abdullahi kuturo and Alhaji Aminu Sani Secretary of the Committee.
