Former MD KEDCO Commends North West Governors For Creating Community Protection Guards To Tackle Insecurity

Former Managing Director, Kaduna electricity distribution company KEDCO, Alhaji Ishaq Usman Sarkin Shanun Jere, has applauded the giant strides of North West State governors for the launching and recruitment process of the community protection guard in their states.

He made the commendation while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna.

Alhaji Ishaq Sarkin Shanun Jere who is also former Chairman federal medical center Bida said the issue of armed banditry and other insecurity problems bedeviling the zone and the entire nation required proactive measures by all stakeholders to addressing the menace through pragmatic approach.

The Sarkin Shanun Jere argued that government alone cannot handle security issues without the contributions of members of the community, 

 He called on Nigerians to always be law abiding by supporting government efforts to confronting challenges affecting the development of the nation. 

"Its the responsibity of people to expose any individual or group of persons found to be sabotaging the nation’s security."

 Alhaji Ishaq Usman Sarkin Shanun Jere further enjoined peoples to remain committed in prayers for Allah’s intervention on the current calamities befallen the north and the county at large.

 The community leader called on  the three tiers of governments to create policy and programs that enhance  peace, unity and tolerance among farmers and Fulani cattle rearers in the country.
