Senator Yari Flags Off Distribution Of Foodstuffs To 250,000 House Holds In Zamfara.

Former Governor of Zamfara state, and serving senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Honourable Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar has today flagged off the distribution of Foodstuffs to 250,000 households.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, senator Yari disclosed that, this is part of his gesture since he left office as Zamfara Governor five years ago.

Senator Yari who spoke through senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura explained that,17, 500 house holds from each local government would benefit from the gesture, except Gusau local government where 22,000 households would benefit.

According to him, the gesture will extend to the local government and 147 wards accross the state, and each person will be given 17 mudus of assorted foodstuffs.

He however warned that the gesture is for everybody irrespective of political differences, adding that with this assistance most of our households would finish Ramadan with ease.

The Flagg off ceremony was launched in Talata Mafara at Galadima ward and is expected that all the remaining local governments have commenced the distribution of the foodstuffs.

Shading more lights, honourable Muttaqa Rini, who was the chairman distribution committee for Zamfara west Senatorial District said that, 105, 000 households are going to benefit, adding that 17,000 households would be given assorted foodstuffs in each local government, like Anka, Mafara, Bakura, Gummi, Bukkuyum  are to be given.

He also commended the efforts of distribution committee members of their honest, and urged them to maintain the good work they have been doing.

Rini announced that at shiyar Galadima ward in Mafara local government a total of 2,300 households would be given the foodstuffs.
