Zamfara NSCDC Command To Support Committee Saddled With The Return Of Recovered Rustled Cattle To Owners

The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara State Command, Commandant Sani Mustapha has reiterated the resolve of the Corps to give maximum support to the Committee to Manage Recovered Rustled Animals and Return Same to the Rightful Owners in Zamfara  State.

The State Commandant made this known when he hosted the Committee members led by Malam saidu Aliyu Maikwanu in his office at the  Command State headquarters Gusau.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen  by the Command's spokesman Ikor Oche SC, in Gusau the state capital.

According to the statement, Commandant  Sani Mustapha said,  that it was highly thoughtful of the State Government to institute this Committee which is aimed at curbing the high rate of animal rustling  in the State.

The State NSCDC Boss, Commandant Sani Mustapha assured the Committee of the unwavering assistance of the Corps in the prosecution  of whoever is found wanting as may be discovered by the committee.

Meanwhile, Malam Saidu Aliyu Maikwanu who led the team for the visit, extolled the efficacious handling of cases brought by the committee to the Corps. He expressed optimum confidence in the Corps regarding the handling of the Corps' mandate and the settlement of dispute amongst the civil populace.

Malam Saidu therefore solicited for more support from Corps in other to efficiently handle the task stipulated in the committee's  terms of references.
