Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication. The appeal was contained in a  statement signed and made it available to newsmen, by the forum's publicity secretary, Nasuru Mudi.   According to Nasuru Mudi, 'a philanthropist and dedicated elder stateswoman of Tsafe Local Government, Hajiya Hannatu Ali-Akilu, has responded swiftly to the recent bandit attack on Chediya, a village located about 18 kilometers from Tsafe.  Hajiya Hannatu Ali-Akilu, with great compassion, has taken the lead and raised ₦ 1,855,000 in less than 24 hours. The flag-off distribution of security vehicles and the commissioning of the Zamfara Mass Transit Buses took place on Tuesday at the Gusau Trade Fair complex.
