Gov, Uba Sani Tribute Tournament Enhances Unity In Diversity:- commissioner

The Kaduna state Commissioner of Sports Development, professor Benjamin Gugong, has stressed that, "organising of Governor Uba Sani Tribute Football competition would enhanced Unity and social co existence amongst the citizens in the state.

 The Commissioner made this  known while interaction with media men in an opening ceremony of five aside fustal tournament, for the commemoration of Governor Sani's one  year in office, organised by the office of special adviser to the governor in sports development.

 The tournament that's holding at Murtala Square Stadiums in Kaduna.

 Professor Gugong, however, explained that " the tournament is  not about the competition to win the trophy is all about bringing people together to share fun, happiness and enhance social coexistence between the people in the government and the citizens.

 Also speaking during the opening ceremony, the Kaduna state Commissioner for Agriculture, honourable Murtala Dabo, thanked governor Uba Sani for making the tournament possible, that would promote unity amongst the various ethnics and religious background.

  "I observed a huge development, its actually purpose with the interaction and get together for the spirit of togetherness,the whole of Kaduna is coming to the place in order to watch the events."

 The Executive Secretary Kaduna state Emergency Management Agency, (SEMA), Dr Usman Mazadu, said "primarily our take is to make the citizens fell more comfortable and excitement.

  He however commended the organiser's of the tournament, " it's absolutely fantastic arrangement by the organiser's, the atmosphere is conducive; the fan's, players, officials and the government bodies.

 In his welcome address the Special Assistant to governor Uba Sani on Sports development, Hon. Saidu  Idris Dibis, appreciated governor Uba Sani for his efforts and encouragements towards the enlighten the sporting activities in the state.

 He also explained that, "this is the first tournament ever organised in Kaduna, it's the first edition I believed we must have some impediments in one way and the other, but I'm seeing the success since from the beginning.

 " I'm happy for seeing the opening ceremony of governor Uba Sani one year anniversary, and hope the government would sustained up to their eight years in office."

He further thanked his fellows government's bodies whose have their time to witnessed a memorial event.
