Sallah Celebration: Senator Yari Distributes 380 Cows To 147 Political Wards in Zamfara

Former Zamfara State Governor and Senator Representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has commenced the distribution of 380 Cows to 147 Political Wards in 14 Local Government Areas of the State.

Flagging off the distribution exercise in Kasuwar Daji Ward of Ƙaura Namoda Local Government Area on Saturday, 08/06/2024, Chairman of the Distribution Committee, Hon. Lawal M Liman Gabɗon Ƙaura explained that the gesture was part of Senator Abdulaziz Yari's annual magnanimity to Executives and Stakeholders of All  Progressives Congress, APC in the State.

Hon. Lawal M Liman who also heads the Senator's Political Organisation said in the exercise each ward will have 2 Cows for the executives and stakeholders of the party to have a very joyous Eidil Kabeer.

Represented at the event by a member of the Committee, Hon. Muhammad Muttaka Rini (Makaman Zamfara), the Chairman stated that Wards under 4 Local Government Areas of Ƙaura Namoda, Zurmi, Shinkafi and Birnin Magaji that constituted Zamfara North Senatorial District have received their allocation.

He said between now and Tuesday, 11/06/2024 the remaining Wards of the 10 Local Government Areas in Zamfara Central and West Senatorial Districts will receive theirs respectively.

While acknowledging the tireless efforts of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar in serving not only his people but humanity at all times, the Chairman called on other Political Leaders in the State to emulate such efforts with a view to ensuring the socio- economic stability of the polity.
