WHY I WANT CONTEST FOR KADUNA STATE PDP CHAIRMAN; HON. ASHAFA WAZIRI

  Honourable Ashafa Waziri has formally declared his intentions to contest for the Kaduna state Peoples Democratic Party Chairman (PDP), in the incoming 2024 the party state Congress.

  Ashafa Waziri made the announcement while briefing  newsmen, at Nigeria Union Of Journalists (NUJ) secrtariat recently in Kaduna.

According to the party Chairmanship aspirant, "I made the similar attempt in couple of years ago, I decided to  make another attempt."

"This is because I strongly believed that I have something to offer to transform the state chapter of the party for the better."

  "I have also the wherewithal, the competence, the knowledge, the energy, and the strength to be the bridge builder that will  unite the PDP in Kaduna State and restore its past glory."

  He however explained that, "Since the narrative has not changed as we've lost two consecutive elections in 2019 and 2023.

 "We did well in 2023, we won all the three senatorial seats, won house of representatives seats, and house of assembly seats, but the margin of votes reduced by over 150,000 votes in the gubernatorial elections, and the votes we got from the presidential elections."

 "We need to work harder and strategise, and imperative that we elect leaders who are competent and capacity to manage the affairs of the party in the state.

 The Leader who will be fair, just and ready to sacrifice his time, knowledge, contacts, and above all his financial resources for the good and progress of the PDP. He added.

  Hon Waziri also assured that, with the power of the Almighty God, and the full support of our teeming supporters, the PDP will bounce back stronger to rescue Nigeria from its present predicament.

 He further revelled that, if elected state chairman, i will reposition the party and carry everybody along, leadership will be anchored on justice, fairness, equity, accountability, inclusiveness, and transparency.

  He also called on more people to came and show their interest to contest for party positions, especially the party chairman from zone 3.

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
