Dr, Isaac Bulus Hails Zamfara Health Commissioner For Her Commitment In Driving Health Sector Forward

The Zamfara state commissioner of health Dr, Aisha M Z Anka has been commended for her commitment in driving health sector forward.

Dr. Isaac Bulus, the Regional Manager of the IHVN Kano region, made the commendation today during the stakeholders conference in Gusau, the Zamfara state capital.

He said the commendation became imperative considering  the Commissioner's capacity through health-related developmental projects carried out by the Governor's administration, Dr. Lawal Dare, under her supervision. 

According to the Regional Manager, Dr. M. Z Anka supports the state Ministry of Health in achieving adequate management of HIV and TB patients, as well as a commitment to the HIV and TB program's implementation and strengthen integration for TB/HIV activities amongst Stakeholders in The State.

The  NEPHWAN Monitoring and Evaluation Officer,  Lukman Majidadi, praised the state Ministry of Health's Department of Public Health for coordinating non-governmental activities and contributing to the development of the health sector. 

Majidadi stated that any challenges are reported to the state Ministry of Health through the Director Public Health, Dr. Yusuf Abubakar Haske for  Coordinator the activities.

Lawal Sani, the Program Manager of the TB and Leprosy  Control Program, urged stakeholders to collaborate to advance Zamfara state. 

Dr. Yusuf Abubakar Haske, representing the Commissioner, thanked stakeholders for their unwavering support and pledged to collaborate for the state's development.

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
