ACTION FOR CAPACITY BUILDING HONOURS KATUKAN TSAFE WITH MERIT AWARD

A non governmental organization in Zamfara state have honored the former Chief of staff to governor Abdul azeez Yari Abubakar, Engineer Abdullahi Abdulkarim Katukan Tsafe with merit award for his philanthropist development to youth.

 The former Commissioner was conferred with the award honoured in recognition the humanitarian assistance given the peoples in Tsafe local government and Zamfara state at large.

 While presenting the award to awardee, at the Jaiz hotel recently in Gusau the Chairman Action for capacity building, Comrade Bashir Sani Umar, said "we decided to consider and honoured Engineer Abdullahi after a several consultation and screens out with others contestants.

He has been considered with recognition for humanitarian assistance especially the youth empowerment.

 "Some of the examples of the former commissioner achievement is the: providing of Twenty millions fload of land for the Tsafe township cemetery, and donations of One million naira to Tsafe security fund raising."

According to the chairman, Engineer Abdullahi have paid schools fees to over Three million naira to Twenty three poor and non preveilleges students study at federal university Gusau, and also refunded  schools fees over thirty students from College of health technology Tsafe.

 Representing Engineer Abdullahi  Abdullakarim, the former Sole administrator of  Tsafe local government, Alhaji Saminu Samaila, Garkuwan Garewa,  thanked the youth group for considered and houred Katukan Tsafe with prestigious merit award.

 "The award served as encouragement towards the contribution and support given to the peoples of Tsafe, central zone and Zamfara state as whole".
