ENGAGING YOUTH IN SPORTS ACTIVITIES REDUCES RATE OF INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

The fermer house of assembly member representing Yola North and Yola South federal constituency, Alhaji Jafaru Ribado has described the engagement of youths in sporting activities would woefully reduces the high rate of crimes in Nigeria. 

 Honourable Jafaru Ribado stated that during the official launching of AK-KASU Football Academy held at KASU convocation ground recently in Kaduna.

 The house member however argued that, "for the youth to engaged in any positive sports activities there would be no room to involved in immoral acts, it's really reduce a lot of crisis, and enhance unity in devisity, and also capes the lingering insecurity challenges facing the nation.

 " With partnership of KASU as academic environments, it's really a golden opportunities for the players to have the certificate of excellent and booster their talents and experience through AK Academy."

 The Kaduna state Football Association Chairman, Faisal Mohammed Abdullahi, commended the AK Academy management for establishment the project and a venture, its really helps the state football governing body to their mandate and agenda in given the chances to the youth for better sporting facilities.

 He also described the AK Academy as one of the most active Academy under our association in the state, "we have donated a plot of Land to the Academy and we are willing to assist much more for the development of our teaming youth and the football in the state.

 " It's really fantastic facilities it looks like you travel to abroad like Morocco and others European countries that have established since, im delighted seen such in Kaduna."

 Also speaking at the event, the Vice Chancellor Kaduna state university, Professor Ibrahim Abdullahi, represented by Professor H O Aboh the director Consultancy services KASU, described the KASU and AK Academy as wise and excellent partnership.

 "Base on the university system is to inculcate and graduating peoples on "character and learning". The partnership is an golden opportunities for youth Academy to secure admissions in to various courses and secure free scholarship in the university".

 He however calls on the parents to registere their children's in the AK Academy for better future's to our teaming teenagers who have interest in football.

 While briefing the journalists at the event, the Chairman management board AK Academy, Dr Aminu Abbas Khalifa, said the aims of establishing the Academy is to the best Academy talents and create multiple channel's to bring them out to the world, and also being a massive revenue generating complex.

 Dr Khalifa further noted that, the Academy have achieved in hosting and engaging in multiple scouting tournament by foreign clubs director's from the world across different locations nationally, including Abuja,Lagos,Gombe,Kaduna amongst others.

 "The football Academy is a FIFA and NFF licensed founded by young dedicated talented individuals that had great passions for football, thriving in both physical and business establishment for the last five ago, partnership with KASU, given name as "AK-KASU Football Academy."
