Argungu Assures New Recruits Constables Support In Carrier Progression

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd, has promised the Commission as employers of the Police will continue to support the new recruit Constables passing out at Police Colleges Kaduna and schools across the nation after a six months training programme.
DIG Argungu stated that through the Director trainning and recruitment of the Commission, Abubakar Aminu Manunfashi, at the passing out parade of 2022 intake for recruits consntables, held at police college in Kaduna.
He however ensured the new Recruit's that, career progression will be predictable and within the requirements of established rules and regulations.
He also noted that the Commission will closely monitor their activities "from the day of gradation, and also not hesitate to sanction any one who deviates from the time tested established Police rules of engagement.
The Chairman further noted that, the Office of Constable " is a dignified Office that deserves all the required dignity and respect", stressing that the Commission "expects that you conduct yourself in a manner deserving of a Police Officer ".
"the nation is still facing some security challenges that include banditry, kidnapping, armed robbery and terrorism but noted that the President " has however, graciously given a listening ear to requests for manpower improvement and provision of needed logististical support".
In his addressed the Inspector general of police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, charged the graduands for their responsibilities of contributing to the maintenance of law and order and protection of lives and property in the Country.
He however commended their efforts and dedication shown before during the training, calls them to sustained the sacrifices and commitment towards the development of our Nation.
Speaking with newsmen's at the occasion, the house representative member representing, Mashi and Dutsi federal constituency, in Katsina state, Honorable Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, called on the federal to take any necessary major for ensuring peace and stability in north western zone of the country.
The law maker however explained that, "no country will progress and develop with insecurity," no any community or nation that make any meaningful development in such situation in the country.
"We are expecting the hutch success in the fight against banditry, and others acts of terrorism hampering our region in the country".
He further stressed that, with the levels of government commitment in recruiting more security personnel's hoping that the insecurity challenges it soon became a history.
Other law maker from Kaduna state, representing Soba federal constituency, Engineer Sulaiman Richifa, congratulated graduands for their successful six months training programme.
Urged them for being patriotic and commitment towards protection the live and property of citizens in our dear country Nigeria.
