Zamfara Health Commissioner Pays Unschedule Night Visit To Yariman Bakura General Hospital

The Zamfara State Commissioner of Health, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, conducted a surprise night time inspection of the Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital on Wednesday.

During the visit, Dr. Maradun toured various departments of the hospital, including the emergency room, maternity ward and surgical unit.

The Commissioner was pleased to find that doctors were on duty in every department, ensuring round-the-clock patient care.

“I am impressed with the dedication and commitment of the medical staff,” Dr. Maradun said.

“Their presence here, even at this late hour, demonstrates their commitment to providing quality healthcare to the people of Zamfara State.”

Dr. Maradun also emphasized the state government’s zero-tolerance policy for absenteeism among public servants.

She reiterated Governor Dauda Lawal’s commitment to improving the welfare of state workers, including healthcare professionals.

The commissioner’s visit is part of ongoing efforts to improve healthcare delivery in Zamfara State and ensure that public hospitals are well-staffed and equipped to meet the needs of the population.
