PROMOTION EXAMINATION: COMMANDER TRADOC TASKS LCPPE CANDIDATES ON SERIOUSNESS, DETERMINATION

The Commander Training and Doctrine Command  Nigerian Army  (TRADOC NA),  Major General Kevin Aligbe, has called on the candidates for the 2025 seeking for Lieutenant to Captain Practical Promotion Examination (LCPPE), to focus fully on the examination and make a solid foundation for their career progression.  

Maj Gen Aligbe who is the President Examination panel, charged the 208  candidates of 2025  LCPPE held at Maj Gen Joseph Nanven  Garba Hall , Post Graduate School of the Nigerian Defence Academy, in Kaduna.

The commander however congratulated them for attaining the watershed moment in their chosen military career by selecting them to participate in the promotion examination. 

 Major general Aligbe  also assured of zero tolerance to  malpractice in the NA examinations, and advised the candidates to use the opportunity to lay a solid foundation for further consolidation of their chosen career. 

He further urged them to be disciplined,  courageous and exemplary which are the virtues that formed the core values of the NA and on which premise their career trajectory would be assured. 

The  Examination President reminded the candidates that they are on a crucial assignment and their conduct during the examinations could make or mar their career. 

“ 2025 LCPPE is designed to achieve objectives; improve the candidates knowledge on military profession,  assist the NA in candidates' career  planning,  test the candidates’ physical fitness,  stimulate healthy competitive spirit amongst the candidates,  assess candidates' ability in command amongst others." 

He also assured the candidates of the  determination of the panelists to carry out a meticulous and painstaking assessment of their performance and accurate recording of their marks. 

  Earlier in his addressed, the Chief Host and the General Officer Commanding 1 Division Nigerian Army,  Maj Gen Mayirenso Saraso, urged the  candidates to put in their best, maintain decorum and discipline in order to come out successful in the examination results.

He however thanked the Chief of Army Staff (GOC), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, for giving the Headquarters 1 Division Nigerian Army  opportunity to host the examination excirses, He also commended Commander TRADOC NA for recommending 1 Division to host the examination amongst  other well qualified  Divisions of the NA . 

He also drew the attention of the panelists and candidates to the need for them to be individually and collectively security conscious while in Kaduna. 

The event is in attendance, the Deputy Chief of Training (Courses and Examination), Army Headquarters Department of Training, Maj Gen Ayoola Aboaba, the Chief of Training TRADOC NA,  Maj Gen Peter Okoye.

 "Representatives from  Army Headquarters,  Nigerian Army Heritage Centre and observers from Army Headquarters, principal staff officers from HQ 1 Division NA, TRADOC NA Team for2025 LCPPE, Examinations  Panelists and the Directing Staff for the 2025 LCPPE  among others.

Zamfara Health Commissioner Resolves NMA Leadership Tussle, As She Receives Elders Commendation

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
