PHA Holds Three Day Workshop On Land Related Disputes In Kaduna

 The Federal Housing Authority in collaboration  with Mortgage Bank have organised a three day sensitisation programme to their staffs and stakeholders for  capaacity buillding on challenges facing the housing profession in Nigeria.

 The capacity building programme with theme; "Adapting to change,  exploring challenges and breakthrough in housing development over the past years" which recently held at Stonedge hotel in Kaduna.

 In his address, Barrister Bosun Oledele, said "the workshop is timely in addressing the thousands civil cases in the various courts for land related dispute in Nigeria.

 Mr Oledele however explained that, the introduction of "Alternative Disputes Resolution."it's an mechanism in addressing an discouraged the ramparts court cases filled associated with land dispute in Nigeria

 "Its the act of involving both patties with zero tolerance and absence of financial expenses, its also an avenues in resolving land disputes amicably without going to court."

 The legal practioner also noted that, "land is the number one thing for human being to exist, its use to produce foods through agriculture, home for shelter and a place to claime.

 "land related court cases latest for several years without passing judgement as a results of complexity of procedures."

He further noted that, the invention of ADR approach would enhance faster, less expenses and even created understanding between the both patties.
