Zamfara Health Ministry Orients Officers on New Activity Tracking

The Zamfara state Ministry of Health organized a one-day orientation for programme officers on a new template for tracking Annual Operational Plan (AOP) quarterly activities.

In opening remarks delivered by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Malam Bashir Sirajo Gusau, representing the Commissioner for Health Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, program officers were charged with diligence in their duties.

The Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp) Desk Officer gave a brief presentation on the sector-wide approach, emphasizing sectoral coordination for health sector efficiency.

Data Bank Manager Rufa’i Anka reviewed the new template with participants.

The World Health Organization (WHO) State Representative  reiterated the WHO's unwavering support for the development of the state's health sector in his remarks.

Partners in attendance included the WHO, Solina, and the Society for Family Health.
