Zamfara Health Ministry Orients Officers on New Activity Tracking

The Zamfara state Ministry of Health organized a one-day orientation for programme officers on a new template for tracking Annual Operational Plan (AOP) quarterly activities.

In opening remarks delivered by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Malam Bashir Sirajo Gusau, representing the Commissioner for Health Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun, program officers were charged with diligence in their duties.

The Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp) Desk Officer gave a brief presentation on the sector-wide approach, emphasizing sectoral coordination for health sector efficiency.

Data Bank Manager Rufa’i Anka reviewed the new template with participants.

The World Health Organization (WHO) State Representative  reiterated the WHO's unwavering support for the development of the state's health sector in his remarks.

Partners in attendance included the WHO, Solina, and the Society for Family Health.

Zamfara Health Commissioner Resolves NMA Leadership Tussle, As She Receives Elders Commendation

The Elders Forum commended Dr. Maradun's dynamic leadership and her visionary approach in guiding the NMA through the challenging period.  They highlighted the positive impact her intervention had on both the association and the overall healthcare system in the state. Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
