Emir Of Kaura Celebrates Five Years Anniversary As Sarkin Kiyawa

As part of his outlined programs to mark fifth years anniversary as Sarkin Kiyawa, The Emir of Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State his royal highness Major , Dr Sanusi Muhammed Asha has organised a one day lecture with the theme, "First royal seminar"

During the lecture, five papers were presented by academicians.

The theme of papers presented include are.

Traditional Rulers And The Community Development 
First paper titled, Important of culture in Hausa Community, presented by Emir Of Mafara, His Royal Highness Muhammad Barmo, the second paper titled the role of traditional rulers in healthcare delivery,  presented by Dr, Husaini Yakubu Anka.

 Other papers presented are, the role of traditional rulers in education development, right of leaders to their followers and rights of followers to their leaders. the role of traditional rulers is security architecture respectively 

Speaking shortly after the paper presentation, the Zamfara State Governor Dr Dauda Lawal represented by Head of Civil Service Malam Yakubu Haidara, noted the state government’s commitment to Kaura Namoda’s progress and recognised the significant contributions of its indigenes to state and national development.

He said, Zamfara State is doing everything possible to ensure that all Emir Palaces Accross the fourteen local government areas have been renovated, according to him his government is giving priority to traditional institutions .

He praised the emir’s five-year reign for its achievements and noted Lawal’s administration, which, in under two years, has improved healthcare, built roads, reformed education, empowered youths, and addressed security in Kaura Namoda.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Emir of Kaura Namoda, HRH Major Dr Sanusi Mohammed Ahmad Asha, Khadimul Qur’an, has thanked his lord for giving him opportunity to organised fifth year anniversary as Sarkin Kiyawa. He urged royal fathers across Nigeria to lead with transparency and efficiency.

The event took place at the Ahmad Asha Auditorium Hall, Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State.

Highlight of the occasion include presentation of awards to some Emirs , and some important personalities in the state.

 The program will continue on Monday and ends on Wednesday evening

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication. Zamfara Health Ministry, Ministry Of Agriculture, WHO, Collaborate To Prevent Outbreak Of Anthrax In The State

By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau  The Zamfara State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, and partners, have strengthened the one health approach to contain the incident of anthrax outbreak in the state. Commissioner of Health Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun announced this during a stakeholder meeting today at the Public Health Emergency Operations Center (EOC).  Massive  sensitisation and Vaccination for anthrax has already started in Zamfara State, and we need to improve coverage and sensitization in the state,"Dr. Maradun said.
