SIF Hands Over Four Women And Girls Spaces To Zamfara State Government

 Secours Islamique France (SiF), under the stabilization and resilience of vulnerable population in Zamfara state,  has today hands over completed four women and girls spaces to zamfara state government.

Speaking during the handing over ceremony, the SIF Country overseer Mr Aliou Boly said that, the Spaces is not just a building but a space where women and girls can feel safe, help and supportive, a space where they can access social support, and rebuild social support, skills and rebuild confidence.

He explained that, "it is our total commitment to standing against gender based violence, and promoting the right and wellbeing of women and girls every where in the world including in Zamfara state.

"And these achievements was made possible to collaboration with community leaders, state and local authorities help partners and most importantly with the women and girls ".

Aliou Boly, also informed the beneficiaries of these facilities that the space is theirs and meant for them for feeling, learning and empowerment.

He however warned that people should not forget the history, as according to him this project is one of the African empire history, and the history of Zamfara and Sokoto empire is also in the African empire.
The  overseer of the program has finally handed over the facilities to the wife of Zamfara governor Hajiya Huriyyah Dauda Lawal.

The four local government areas that benefited from the gesture includes Anka, Talata Mafara, Tsafe, and Gusau respectively .

Speaking earlier, the Zamfara state commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs Hon, Salisu Musa Tsafe represented by the acting permanent secretary of the ministry Muhammad Bashar Maradun thanked the SIF for choosing Zamfara state to execute such a wonderful projects.

He also said that, the present administration of Dauda Lawal may extend the projects to the remaining ten local government areas in the state.

The colourful ceremony which was held at the Taula Arena Hall was graced by the four benefitting  local government chairmen , representatives of Emirs, among others

Zamfara Health Commissioner Resolves NMA Leadership Tussle, As She Receives Elders Commendation

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
