Gov, Idris Approves Over 400m For 2024/2025 Registration Fees To Kebbi Indigenes

Governor Idris of Kebbi State has directed the immediate release of Four hundred and twenty two million, one hundred and one thousand, six hundred and twenty six thousand thirty kobo (422,101,626,30), for the payment of 2024/2025 registration fees to 6,127 Kebbi State Indigenes studying at Usman Danfodio University Sokoto, and Federal University Birnin Kebbi.

This was contained in a statement signed and issued to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, by Isah Abubakar Tunga, Honorable Commissioner Ministry For High Education.

According to the statement, the sum of 211, 626, 378, 30 was paid to 3,922 students studying at Federal University Birnin Kebbi, while #210,475,577.00 was paid to 2,205 students studying at Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.

The statement added that,  efforts are in pipeline to pay the registration fees for the 2024/2025 academic session for all Kebbi State Indigenes studying in other tertiary institutions across the country.

The statement further said that the ministry for high education would continue to be most appreciative and thankful to his excellency comrade Dr, Nasiru Idris Kauran Gwandu, the statement concluded.

Tsafe Development Forum Appeals For An Urgent Support To The Victims Of Bandits Attacks In Chediya Ward

  By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna  The Tsafe Local Government Development Forum has called on the philanthropists in Tsafe, Zamfara and Nigeria at large to urgently assist the victims of bandits attacks in Chediya Ward of  Tsafe local government in Zamfara state.  The victims who are now taking shelter in various Internal Displace Persons (IDPs) camps within Tsafe and its environs, were in need of foodstuffs, shelter and medication.
