Tsafe LG Boss Inaugurates Security Committee, Distributes 10 Motorcycles To CJTF

In his efforts to fight the insurgency bedeviling Tsafe local government, the council Chairman, Honourable Garba Mohd  (Fanchest), has today inaugurated the eight man security committee that would support the security personnel against banditry and other related offences in the areas.

And also distributed Ten motorcycles to civilian joint tax force CJTF operating in Tsafe local government areas.

 The inauguration ceremony and distribution of motorcycles held at Tsafe local government Secretariat in Tsafe, Zamfara state.

 Speaking during the inauguration, the Tsafe local government council Chairman, Alhaji Garba Mohammed fanchest, tasked the eight man committee to display their experience and attribute their efforts quoter in eradication of the bad eggs amongst the society.

He also reiterated his government commitment in protecting lives and properties of the citizens, also described the formation of the security committee as one of the strategic and efforts in reviving peace in Tsafe local government and it's environs.

 

 Garba Fanchest further noted that, his  door is always open for those that would provide any observations, advices and contributions, to meet with any member of the committee, also described security issues as  collectives efforts.

 The Emir of Tsafe Mohammad Bawa, represented by Sarkin Gabas Alhaji Babangida Abubakar Aliyu, said "the formation of security committee in Tsafe local government is a welcome development and timely.

 He reiterated the Emirate commitment for continued given co operations in any programmes and policies for the development of the people of Tsafe local government.

 The Emir also tasked the eight man security committee as retired personnel selected in various security outfit to displace their quota experience in reviving of peace in Tsafe and it's environs.

 Also the Peoples Democratic Party Chairman, Alhaji Garba Garewa, commended the efforts of Zamfara state governor, Dr Dauda Lawal  and Council Chairman of Tsafe local government, Alhaji Garba Mohammed Fanchest, for their collective contributions towards returning of peace in Tsafe local government and Zamfara state.

 He appealed to the council Chairman to provide more motorcycles to security personnel in other  Area Development Councils (ADC)for effective operations in those areas.

Earlier in his welcome address, the Secretary to Tsafe local government council, Alhaji Salisu Bawa Hayin Alhaji, said " the essence of the formation of security committee as well and the distribution of Ten motorcycles to the CJTF is to support them with mobility in carried out surveillance against any banditry attacks and operations, also appeals for  prayers from the people.

 The members of security committee are; the retired Deputy Commissioner Correctional Service,  Alhaji Sama Sabo Chairman, while retired Boys Kado, Garba Umar, Aminu Sule.

 Others were; Wadata Mohd , retired Divisional Police Officer, Maiwada Mohd and retired Warrant Officer Nigerian Army, Lawali Hamza who served as the Secretary of the committee.
