Zamfara Emerges First In North West for Implementation of Phase 1.0 NG-CARES Program

The Zamfara state government have been commended for it's giant efforts towards the realization of the just concluded phase 1.0 NG-Cares program 

This was made known to journalists in Birnin Kebbi, by the Zamfara State Commissioner of budget and economic planning, Abdulmalik Abubakar Gajam, shortly after the closing of the North West Zonal Stakeholders Consultative Meeting, To Review IVA Performance Of The NG-CARES Programme.

He said, the commendation become imperative considering the calibre of experience, and dedicated workers in the state government work force, as according to him, during the meeting Zamfara state was given a commendation and also it goes to his Excellency Governor Dauda Lawal for making the program to be a success.
The commissioner who spoke through the permanent secretary of the ministry Alhaji Sani Abubakar Bukkuyum, said the phase 1.0 of the NG-CARES has came to an end in Nigeria, "we are gathered here to review what has really transfired, before entering into phase 2.0 program.

 The commissioner however disclosed that, this type of Stakeholders meeting is currently taking place in six zeo-political zones across country.

Gajam also make it clear that this collaboration by Nigerian government and World Bank has really assisted so many people most especially the vulnerable ones, youths and women empowerment, which he said has make impact to the socio economic activities of the beneficiaries.

"As you are aware, this program is aimed at assisting vulnerable people in the state, and each circle, there are so many vulnerable who benefited from business, farming, lively hood grants, youths employment, among others. He concluded.
