JIBWIS Launches Book For Late Abubakar Gummi Biography Translated In Arabic Language

The National Headquarters of Jama atul Izalatul Bid ah  Waikamatis Sunnah in Nigeria, has celebrated the presentation and book launch for the biography of Late Abubakar Mahmud Gumi, translated in Arabic  language version.

The book launch  "Where I Stand" is a hand wrtten biography of an Islamic Schoolar late Abubakar muhamud Gumi, which was translated by the leader  of the Ulama Council jibwis, Sheikh Dr, Jalo Jalingo, held at Yar Adua hall Murtala Square Kaduna.

 In his address, President Ahmad Bola Tinubu, represented by the governor of Kaduna Malam Uba Sani, commended leadership of JIBWIS in Nigeria for working closely with relevance agencies for ensuring of peace and harmony in north and nation which is critical for any development to achieved.

He however hailed Late Abubakar Mahmud Gumi as a visionary leader lived for the retained of peace, harmony and religious, coexistence between both Muslims and non Muslims in Nigeria, and the only Grand khadi in the north.

 President Tinubu also described him as not only a scholar or preacher, but a mentor of peace, courageous, voice of the voiceless, social justice, fairness and political motivator of the northern region.
 
 He commended the translator Dr, Jalo Jalingo for his outstanding work toward dissemination Late Gumi's messages, Character and expression not only in Nigeria or Africa but the World in general.

 The governor of Zamfara state,  Dauda Lawal represented by his deputy, Malam Mani Malam Mummuni, said the Zamfara state government is committed to support the center, as its founder is the indigene of Zamfara state.

 He also appealed to the participants to pray for God Almighty for the eradication  of banditry that deviled the state, and return of peace in the state and the northern region. 

The Chief launcher of the book, former governor of Zamfara state, Senator Abdul azeez Abubakar Yari Marafan Sokoto, saluted the translator of the book, saying it's our responsibilities to emulate the character of our late imam in expressing his views in neighboring countries, like Sudan, Algeria Saudi Arabia among others.

  He promised to sponsor the modernization of book into hardcovers and ensure the registration in book publication agencies, to reached the national and international standard, also the proper distribution of the copies to various laboratories in the world.

"I'm among his fellow students, that acquired knowledge and wisdom from him,"

Speaking on behalf of late Gumi's families, Sheikh Dr Ahmad Abubakar Mahmud Gumi, called on the JIBWIS clergies to embark in preaching and teaching the populaces Fulani bandits in any corner of their settlements.

 Sheikh Gumi argued that, its only religious that secured man from darkness and made him to think sensitive, and  acts as important member of the society.

"The menace of banditry deviled the north described as inter kingdom's war which is critical to addres, because of it's complex nature, bandits haven't known anything than  to kill and retaliate what.was.done to them.

  Earlier in his address, The National Chairman JIBWIS, Sheikh Bala lau, has called on the governments to embark on taking necessary measures in tackling the menace of banditry and related criminal acts bedeviling the northern Nigeria.

He further revealed that, JIBWIS have realised the sum of One Hundred and Seventy Six million Naira, (N176m), for Sallah ram's skin donations from Thirty six state of the federation.

 " Ram's skin donations, is used in rolling the affairs of propagation of Islam, (preaching), and the group's owned University."
