Kebbi Govt. Approves N60m To Revive Health Colleges

The kebbi state Governor Dr Nasir Idris has approved the sum of sixty million naira to facilitate the institutions accreditation process.

The commissioner for Higher Education Alhaji Isah Abubakar Tunga, announced this at a press briefing in Birnin kebbi, he said the governor approved the funds for the accreditation of eight academic programmes by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

According to the commissioner, the accreditation process is underway after which affected students will be recalled to continue their studies.

Earlier in his speech, provost college of Health sciences and Technology jega Hussaini Aliyu thanked Governor Idris for his continue support and commitment towards  revitalising health education in the state.

" The college Management, in collaboration with it's Governing council and the ministry for Higher Education, remain fully aligned with the governor's vision of educational transformation, accessibility and institutional excellence." He added
