Nigeria at 65;- SOSG, Distributes Cows To Security Agencies, Orphans, And Prisoners

As part of its 65th anniversary celebrations, the Sokoto State Government has distributed cows to security agencies, orphanages and prisons to celebrate the occasion in a spirit of joy and celebration.

The Commissioner for Interior, Hon Isa Mohd Tambagarka, led the distribution of the cows on behalf of His Excellency the Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto 

The Commissioner said this was an effort by His Excellency the Governor to show his support to the security agencies  on reducing the burden on them.
 He said that every year the state government has been doing this as part of the celebration of this day of independence of our country Nigeria. 

Representatives of the security forces including the Army, Air Force, Police and Prisons as well as the Orphanage, thanked the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto fcna for this contribution. 

They also assured of more commitment in discharging the responsibility entrusted to them. 

During the distribution of cows to the beneficiaries by the  State Government, the Commissioner was accompanied by the Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Hon, Bello Idris, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Alhaji Arzika Bodinga and Directors of the Ministry.
