Rabiu Garba Emerged As New Chairman Association Of Zamfara State Residents In Kaduna

The National Association of Zamfara State Indigenes Residents in Kaduna State have elected the new elected officials that's would takes over the union affairs to the next four years tenure.
The election that combined many aspirants aspiring various positions in the forum, with over five hundred members votes, which recently held at Nigerian Union of Journalist Kaduna state Secretariat in Kaduna.
Speaking to newsmen, Retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe described the election as successful considering with the arrangements and the peaceful co existence shown by the union members during the smooth conduct of the election.
The former Commissioner for internal security affairs Zamfara state, also advised the newly elected officials to prioritize the unifying the members of the union as one entity. toward achieving a desire objective.
Dallatun Tsafe however charged them to lead union affairs with equity, justice and fairness, also urged them to live with their host communities with peace.
In his remarks, the Chairman Security Committee of the election, Retired Colonel Rabi'u Garba 'Yandoto expressed gratitude and appreciation to the electorates for peaceful and smooth conduct of the exercises.
He also urged the elected officials who are expected to serve for four years in rulling the union affairs, charged them to fear Allah and embrace partial treatment to all members, in order enhance the welfare of Zamfara indigenes residence in Kaduna.
Colonel Yandoto, however advised the new leaders to shun any act that would disrupt the unity of people of Zamfara.
He further described the success of the election as unprecedented with view of the maturity exhibited by the electorate during the election process.
In his acceptance Speech, the newly elected Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Rabi'u Garba, promised to embrace an open door policy, that would carry all along.
The newly elected Chairman however assured of transparent leadership and prudent management of the association's resources.
Others elected officials are; Hajiya Asma'u Muhammad Shagamu Gusau Welfare Officer, Suleiman Rabi'u Auditor, while Public Relations Officer PRO, Aminu Isma'ila Kayayen Maru, Financial Secretary Salisu Birnin Magaji and Secretary General Sani Umar among others.
