KDHA COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN PLEDGES TO PARTNER WITH NGOs FOR PROPER IMPLEMENTATION OF 23 LGAs BUDGET

The Kaduna State House Of Assembly Committee Chairman on appropriation and implementation, Honorable Engineer Shehu Yunusa Pambeguwa has reiterated the house of assembly commitment to partner with non governmental organisations for proper and judicial implementation of 23 local government areas councils budgets.
The 2026 budget proposes by all 23 local government councils presented before the house committee, recently held at Members Common Room, state house of assembly complex in Kaduna.
According to the committee Chairman, it's mandatory for the Committee of Appropriation and Implementation to carry out an in-depth analysis and study the budget, In the process the committee invited the 23 local governments Chairmen of Kaduna State, to appear before the Honorable Committee."
"Going through it, raises some observations and raised some questions, and they were able to answer and make the amendments."
Honourable Pambeguwa however explained that, in partnership community development charters. It's a non-governmental organization that we are working with hand-in-hand.
And they will be able to go around the 23 local governments and collect the input from the various stakeholders, from the students' union, market women, traditional rulers, religious leaders, among others.
While interaction with newsmen, the Chairperson of Jaba Local Government Council, Larai Soliyo Ishaku, has stressed her leadership commitment to align with governor Uba Sani sustainable development agendas, to improve socioeconomic development of good citizens of Jaba.
She however, noted that, the council is embark in improvement on creating the internal generation of revenue on agricultural productivity, enhancement of ginger and archer cultivation in Jaba local government.
The Chairmen of Lere, Sanga,Makarfi Kajuru, Kagarko have stressed their determination to priotise agriculture, education and security for the 2026 fiscal year.
Other local governments Chairmen that include; Giwa, Igabi, Kaduna north and Birnin Gwari, have reiterated their concern to focuse on insecurity challenges facing their communities.
