KDSG, CPRDS LAUNCHES PROJECT ON ADVANCING ADAPTATION IN CLIMATE TRANSFORMATION

The Kaduna state government in collaboration with centre for policy research and development solutions have launched projects on advancing adaptations and climate transformation in Nigeria (ACTION) in Kaduna.
The projects launched held at Asaa Pyramid hotel in Kaduna, converned various stakeholders; government and non governmental organisation's in and outside the state.
The projects manager of CPRDS, Dr Hamza Jakada has explained that, "the organisation's objectives is to establish a align sub natural climate policy to the objective of Nigeria nationally determined contribution (NDCs).
Dr Hamza Jakada, however, noted that,CPRDS, enhance the technical capacity of relevant ministries, departments and agencies collaborations on climate adaptations and carbon credit mechanisms.
"It's also implement and promote a green projects; clean cooking solutions and climate smart agriculture in livelihood in rural communities and the villagies."
The projects manager further expressed that, our organisation engages to promote green skills and digitalization of climate action through technical, vocational education and training (TVET).
While interaction with newsmen's, the permanent Secretary Kaduna state ministry of environment Mrs Linda Asabat Yakubu, said "the state ministry have embarked on communities enlightenment campaigns on degradation and deforestation and monthly environmental sanitation.
She also warned the Kaduna state citizens on illegal failing of trees, encourage them to embrace the use of products available after harvesting for cooking purposes.
Also speaking with Journalists, Hajiya Amina Salisu, representing Mc Arthur foundation, has appealed to orthers relevant authorities to partner with CPRDS to enhance and protection our condusive environment.
Which She described as alternative to Carter and protect adaptations of climate transformation in Nigeria for adequate provision in agriculture mechanism.
