Kebbi State Governor Sets To Improve Teachers Welfare As He Distributes 12,779 Set Of Furnitures

The Kebbi State Governor Comrade Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu has today flags-off distribution of over 12,779 sets of furnitures to both teachers and students in the state, assuring the teachers of his readiness to provide loan facilities to them.

 Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris described the gesture as part of his campaign promises to provide furnitures a part from the renovating and constructions of various primary and post primary schools in kebbi state and we promised to equiped them.

"This is part of the obligation as government to ensured that our students have furnitures in their classes." -_ Idris said.
" I want seized this opportunity to tell the commissioner and peoples of kebbi state that, this is just the beginning we will continue to provide this type of furnitures for teachers and students". _ Governor Idris Added.

The governor also stated that, Government of kebbi state will continue to look at the problems associated with teachers in kebbi state. promised to come up with a package that teachers of primary and post primary schools will benefit like soft loans, car loans, motorcycle, Housing among others.

" The Era of treating teachers as second class workers in kebbi state is over". Idris said.

Governor Idris also directed the Commissioner of the ministry of Basic and Secondary Education Dr. Halima Bande to share the furnitures Between Her ministry and the state universal Basic Education.

Speaking earlier, the commissioner of Basic Education Dr. Halima Bande thanked the state Governor for all what he have been doing on the area of education sector, saying that education is receiving what it's expected to received.
She however thanked the state governor for employing 2000 qualified teachers in the state, adding that the governor has never intervened during  the recruitment process, which indicated that he is ever ready to uplift the standard of education.

" Today we are witnessing commissioning of 12, 779 furnitures for both teachers and students." She Said.

Bande also said un behalf of the students of kebbi state, the teachers of kebbi state and by extension the parents of kebbi state thanked the state Governor most sincerely and pray Allah to guide and reward him abundantly and wish him all the best in the second tenure, pray Allah to make it very easy for him.
