Zamfara Zakkat Board To Distribute Ramadan And Sallah Package To Orphans And Vulnerable Ones

The Zamfara State Zakkat collection,distribution and endowment board Gusau will distribute Ramadan and Sallah welfare packages to orphans and vulnarables ones in the state.

The Executive Secretary of the board, Alhaji Habib Muhammad Balarabe said, the distribution flag will be held tomorrow Saturday 21st February 2026 at the premises of the board by 11am.

Alhaji Habibu Balarabe Muhammad added that, wife of the Executive Governor, Her Excellency Huriya Dauda will flag off the exercise, and Deputy Governor's wife Barrister  Balkisu Mani Mummuni will serve as a special gest.

He solicited to the relevant stake holder to attend the memorable occasion at the stated time.

Malam Habib Balarabe, called on screened beneficiaries to came to the board tomorrow as early as possible to collect their gesture.

He thanked the Zamfara state Government under the leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal for giving full support to the board and prayed Allah to continue protecting his administration.

The Executive Chairman  also expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences onbehalf management and entire staff  over the passing of the Mother of Alhaji Sani Abubakar Maradun, (Deputy Director Distribution) who died yesterday for prolonged illness Malama Aisha Halilu (mowa) Maradun, 
 
She survived with 6 children and died at the age of 82 years.

The Executive Chairman described the demise of the revered mother as not only a personal loss to hes family but also a monumental loss to the Maradun Emirate, and the entire people of Zamfara State.
