Zamfara Gov's Wife Sponsors Education Of Boy Who Vows To Avenge His Father's Murder By Bandits.

The child was recorded expressing anger and grief over the killing of his father by bandits and vowed  to take revenge. This was made known by the Commissioner for Women, Children and Social Development, Dr. Nafisa Muhammad Maradun while briefing newsmen on the steps taken by Zamfara state  government to assist the boy. My introduction to VON came through a brother employed by the corporation, who eloquently described the inner workings of the radio station, sparking my interest. On my inaugural day tuning in to Voice of Nigeria, I tuned into a report segment featuring the voice of Danjibga. To my astonishment, I discovered that we both hailed from the same local government in Zamfara state which is Tsafe. A strong bond formed between us, extending beyond just myself to encompass all the Hausa service staff. His benevolence shone through when I was tasked with covering the 2019 Gubernatorial election. By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau Zamfara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists regret to announce the death of Hamisu Danjibga a reporter with Voice of Nigeria (VON) whose body was found in a sock away behind his house three days after missing. The discovery of his corpse was as result of unpleasant odor observed by Islamiya Children in the evening of Wednesday 20th September,2023 who drew the attention of their teachers. This was contained in a statement signed by the council secretary comrade Ibrahim Ahmad Gada and made available to newsmen in Gusau. According to the statement, after breaking the sock away the dead body was confirmed to be that of Danjibga by his family and some neighbors. Maulud: Darika voice trains 141 women on skill acquisition

168,000 Households to benefit from senator yari's palliatives in zamfara state

NPFL, Referees To Enjoy 30% Hike In Allowance,150M For Season's Winners

By Gambo Abubakar Kaduna The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and it's strategic partners, GTI Assets Management on Friday approved a 30% increase in the indemnity payable to Match Commissioners and Referees that will officiate in the 2023/24 season of the NPFL. The partners also agreed to raise the prize winning money from the ₦100m paid last season to ₦150m.
