The governor made this known today, when he  visited the Community Protection Guards (CPG) training camp, an initiative of his administration to combat banditry in the state. A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, noted that the ongoing Community Protection Guards (CPG) training has instilled hope and confidence in the fight against insecurity in Zamfara. On Thursday, a three-judge appellate court panel declared the Zamfara State governorship election inconclusive. The court ordered a rerun in three local government areas: Maradun, Birnin-Magaji and  Bukkuyum.
