ZMSG TRAINS 50 NURSES, MIDWIVES ON MATERNAL AND CHILD MORTALITY

By Gambo Abubakar The Zamfara state government in partnership with Non governmental organization; Health for Life and Development Foundation (HELDF) have organised a five days work shop for fifty Nurses and Midwives on Maternal and Child Mortality Prevention in the state. The training whichs supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA),with themed; Direct and indirect Causes of Preventable Maternal Death, which recently held at Nigeria Medical Association state Secretariat in Gusau. The Executive Director Health for Life and Development Foundation (HELDEF), Doctor Abubakar Danladi, said the essence of the workshop is to train health providers in the state, particularly Nurses and Midwives across the fourteen local government areas in the state.
