The graduation ceremony for the Community Protection Guards (Askarawan Zamfara) was held on today at the Trade Fair Complex in the capital city of Gusau. The north west Governors who graced the ceremony are  from Jigawa, Kebbi, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Sokoto states. At the launch on Friday, Governor Lawal was decorated with the remembrance emblem by the Chairman of the State Chapter of the Nigeria Legion, Alhaji Aminu Ladan Mada, at the Government House, Gusau. The ceremony for the flag-off of the Fadama III project was held at Zamfara State Ministry of Agriculture, targeting beneficiaries from 14 local government areas.
