Gov. Aliyu Reverts May Salary to Loan Payable in 3 Months

Ahmed Aliyu has approved the conversion of May 2025 salaries, which were paid before the last Eid-el-Adha celebration, into a loan to be paid in three installments. Zamfara State To Collaborate With Sightsavers To Provide Hydrocele Surgeries

Their goal is to perform 100 successful hydrocelectomy operations in Zamfara's 14 local government areas under the Reaching the Last Mile Project (RLM) under Sightsavers. In addition to previously trained Doctors in the state, Sightsavers is set to sponsor the training of additional 5 Medical directors from Anka, Bukuyum, Birnin Magaji, Zurmi and Gusau LGA on new technique of hydrocelectomy surgery.  This training aims to help to update the knowledge and skills of the surgeons and that will lead to high-quality operations, better healthcare and improved patient results. By Aminu Abdullahi Gusau The state minister for Defence Bello Muhammed Matawalle has tasked Zamfara All Progressive Congress APC supporters to remain focused and have faith in the APC, as leaders at the state level are committed to making the party stronger and more united. He made the call today in his home town of Maradun while recieving members of the APC from Zamfara north senatorial district who paid him a Sallah homage. The minister also called for unity among party faithful, especially as preparations for the 2027 general elections are in top gear. He used the occasion to thank the people of Zamfara State for their continuous prayers, which he said have gradually brought an end to banditry and other heinous crimes.
